I just have VS 2010 installed, can the source code be built by using VS 2010?

Thanks Thomas, do you have any plan to publish the latest binary?

Absolutely. icnocop is working on a couple of new features. One of the features is upgrading to VS2010. When these features are done, I will release new binaries.

Just for clarification as I'm unsure if the original question refers to building the MSBuilShellExtension code or any VS2010 code, when I try to build solutions created in VS2010 I get:

File format version is not recognized. MsBuiId can only read solution files between versions 7.0 and 9.0, inclusive

I assume that VS2010 is not yet supported but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. Either way, this extension will be a big help, can't wait to have it working.

We are in the process of releasing a brand new version (2.0) of MSBuild Shell Extension. This release is developed on a branch called 1.2, which is converted to VS2010. The changes from this branch will be merged to trunk shortly. Until then you can build it from the branch.
